FilOil EcoOil Sports (formerly FilOil Flying V Sports) in collaboration with PCCL is bringing back to collegiate basketball fans the traditional PRE-SEASON CUP competitions after a two-year break due to pandemic.
Sixteen teams from UAAP and NCAA have confirmed their participation. The teams are in the midst of preparation for the start of their respective leagues with NCAA due to start in September and UAAP in October.
The games will be held at FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan where all the protocols required by CHEP are in place for strict compliance by participating teams and the general public.
The Organizing Committee is chaired by Reynaldo D. Gamboa (also PCCL Chairman) assisted by Joey Guillermo and Virgil Villavicencio. Coach Joe Lipa is the Commissioner with Bert del Rosario as Deputy.
